Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre (NHCC) brought in the season’s festive cheer with its annual cake mixing celebration, ‘Mix It Up!’, hosted under the iconic Mango Tree. The evening marked the beginning of the joyous Holiday season, blending tradition, togetherness, and indulgence in a delightful afternoon of celebration.
Guests gathered for an afternoon filled with warmth and merriment, as they took part in the age-old ritual of cake mixing stirring together a colourful medley of nuts, fruits, and spirits, symbolising good fortune and happiness for the coming year. The event also featured grape stomping, private family cake mixing setups, and a serene high tea affair, creating an atmosphere of festive camaraderie.
Adding to the celebration was a lavish high tea spread where guests indulged in a delectable assortment of sweet and savoury creations that perfectly captured the season’s essence. The menu featured freshly brewed teas and coffee paired with an assortment of cookies from classic choco chips and oats to rich peanut butter. Decadent delights such as florentine tarts, Dundee cake, Scottish macarons, mince pies, carrot pistachio tea cake, and the traditional plum cake added a touch of nostalgia and festive flavour. The experience was further enhanced by a live Krispy Kreme doughnut counter and indulgent desserts like churro pudding with fresh strawberries. Savoury offerings included fish and chips with tartar sauce, pulled lamb chilli fry, Novotel chicken rolls, and a variety of gourmet sandwiches and paratha burgers served hot off the live counters.
Set against a picturesque backdrop of Novotel’s lawn and under the mango tree with a blend of festive music, laughter, and the comforting aroma of mulled wine and freshly baked treats, making it a memorable start to the holiday season.
